Abstract

(Similarity and Dissimilarity Among Religions) Allah the Most High Says: “ And we did not send before you any apostle but We revealed to him that there is no god but Me, therefore serve me” (The Prophets/25) and He says : “ And certainly We raised in every nation an apostle saying: Serve Allah and shun the Shaitan.” Allah’s Messenger said: “The prophets are paternal brothers; their mothers are different, but their religion is one i.e. Islamic Monotheism.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari) Since the nature of mankind is monotheism i.e. believing in one God only – Allah says : “ The nature made by Allah in which He has made men; there is no altering of Allah’s creation; that the right religion, but most people do not know” (The Romans/30) , and He says “And when your Lord brought forth from the children of Adam, from their backs, their descendants, and made them bear witness against their own souls: Am I not your Lord? They said: Yes! We bear witness. Lest you should say on the day of resurrection: Surely we were heedless of this.” (Araf/172), But Mankind went astray away from the right path and Allah’s nature, Returning back to this vital nature can not be possible without sending Prophets to mankind. The duty of all Prophets, peace be upon them all, is to convey the Truth revealed to them from their Lord, to bring good tiding, to warn and to expound and interpreted Allah’s message for mankind. Allah’s books explained this fact, but the only book of Allah which has remained free from distortion and change is the Qur’an. The dissimilarity in religions happened as a result of -172 - distortion in previous books. Judaism and Christianity now differ from Islam and its fundamentals, because both of them were affected by distortion and changes. What remains untouchable & unchangeable in New and Old Testament is similar to what we find in Qur’an. This clear regarding Creed (such as believing in Allah, His Messengers, His Angles, and the Day of Resurrection), worshiping acts (such as prayer, Fasting, pilgrimages, and alms), conducts & refined behaviors (Such as treating people in a nice way, living peacefully with wives and children, holding tongue from bad words, keeping away from arrogance). Also the Ten Enjoins of Old and New Testament before distortion are completely similar to the Enjoins in Qur’an. Islam is the only religion which Allah kept free from alteration and distortion in spite of the wicked efforts made by groups such as Shia, Rationalists, Batania and Sofia extremists. The call for unifying Islam, the absolute truthfulness religion that abrogates all laws came before it, with the religion of Jews and Christians which is either an obligated religion or altered one, is a new plan known to face Islam and Muslims. This call contradicts the main fundamentals of faith, violates the sanctity of Messengers and Messages, invalidates the truthfulness of Qu’ran & its abrogation of all Books came before it
