Abstract
This study deals with the impact of training, as a main scientific approach to set, implement and divide training plans, on workers performance. The study\'s main problem is represented in what is the impact of the training plan on the bank of Sudan in year 2004 and to what extent it has realized its objectives in the light of the problem, the research\'s hypotheses were set to discuss it. The hypotheses of the research are represented in that; to gain promotion, it is required that the participants joins the training program; ideas and information are communicated via modern means; the training program leads to increasing trainee\\\\\\\'s skills and capacities in doing their jobs; the training program increases the trainee\\\\\\\'s competence in dealing with the others; all departments and branches are involved in determine training needs; the training centers are equipped in the best way and so are the administrative services backing training program revision during and after implementation. The study uses the descriptive –analytical methodology which is based on primary sources such as the questionnaire and interviews, besides the secondary sources that are represented in references, reports and plans. The study consists of three chapters. The first chapter deals with the general concepts on training, training objectives and training planning, while the second chapter studies the bank of Sudan; its establishment, evolution, the organizational structure and the 2004 training plan in the bank. The third chapter discussed and analyzed the data that led to some findings, among which, the existence of continuous training curricula to enable participants to join the training program. There is lack of commitment to the training program objectives which are set in advance, lack of commitment to covering all pre-set topics. These findings have led the researcher to reach some recommendations among which is the concern with the training program objective in the training plan and commitment to their coverage, contribution of the whole administration and branches in identifying the training requirement, revision and evaluation of the training plan annually
